THE PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY

On the last day of the Szemlétek Visionaudial Filmreview and Art Meeting finally got publicity who was prized and valuated from the jury, the students' jury and the audience.

From the incoming competition films with the motto "Ambush" the winner was the animated movie Adam&Eva by Klara Hajkova . The artist from the Czech Republic wasn't present at the prize giving ceremony, her prize (which was a professional photo camera and the traditional Szemlétek-statue) was sent over by post.

From the movies without thematical restriction three movies were feed: The prize of the best international movie was judged by the jury for the short feature film by the artist Maya Zack , called Mother Economy . The film won the prize of the students' jury as well. Unfortunately the artist from Tel-Aviv could't be present either on the ceremony, her prize (an installation from the Hungarian artist Éva Kiss, and the Szemlétek-package with technical instruments and art-books) was sent her on the same way.

The best Hungarian movie was the 11 minutes long road-movie called Megyünk by Simon Szabó , his prize was an opportunity to participate on a summer-moviemaker-workshop (offered by Jenő Hartyándi). During the workshop the young artist will get every professional and material support for his new film.

The best animation film was the 4 minutes long animation called Vizen by the Hungarian artist Fruzsina Gaál . Her prize was a professional LCD-monitor and a drawing-pad which she said she could utilize by her other works.

The winner of the prize of the audience is the 16 minutes long gaxsta-film called Hangár by the Hungarian artist Dávid Géczy , he got a Szemlétek-package from one of the organizers Barbara Tóth.

By the organisers of the Szemlétek Festival was prized an another film as well, with an installation by the Hungarian artist Éva Kiss: the feed 9 minutes long video-animation called Mérlegház by Éva Taskovics.
